We require that transfer students have a personal interview with the principal and visit in the classroom. We require that parents also provide a report of grades from the child's previous schools, results of any testing, and signed authorization releasing academic records at their previous schools.
To be admitted to Pre-K, a child must have attained four years of age on or before August 15th of the enrollment year.
To be admitted to Kindergarten, a child must have attained five years of age on or before August 15th of the enrollment year. A kindergarten screening test is administered each year for which there is a fee charged. An informational meeting for parents of prospective Kindergarten students is held in January. Attendance at this meeting is required for parents.
Christ the King School does not accept students who have been expelled from other schools and reserves the right to not accept certain students when, in the administration's judgment, the school will be unable to meet these students' emotional, behavioral, or special education needs. Christ the King School does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, or national origin.
