Working at deskApplication Process
We require that transfer students have a personal interview with the principal and have a shadow day visit in the classroom. We require that parents also provide a report of grades from the child's previous schools, results of any testing, and signed authorization releasing academic records at their previous schools.

To be admitted to Pre-K-4, a child must have attained four years of age on or before August 15th of the enrollment year.

To be admitted to Kindergarten, a child must have attained five years of age on or before August 15th of the enrollment year. A kindergarten screening test is administered each year for which there is a $35 fee charged. A virtual informational meeting for parents of prospective Kindergarten students is sent out by email in January. This is important information about the screening process.

The hierarchy of acceptance is as follows: siblings of current students/alumni, CTK parishioners/children of alumni, other parishes, and non-Catholics. Date of application plays a part as well.

Christ the King School does not accept students who have been expelled from other schools and reserves the right to not accept certain students when, in the administration's judgment, the school will be unable to meet these students' emotional, behavioral, or special education needs. Christ the King School does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, or national origin.
