I have been teaching at Christ the King School since 2000. I have taught 3rd grade for 20 years, and am very excited to begin teaching computer and technology skills to our students. I attended Parochial schools in Nashville as a child, and graduated from Father Ryan High School. I went on to Auburn University where I graduated with a Bachelor in Science in Education.

Students in grades K-6 come to computer lab twice a week; and students in Pre-K, 7th and 8th grade come once a week. During their time in the computer lab, students will learn valuable skills to help them with school projects and how to create things just for fun!  We will be using Google for Education tools such as Docs, Slides, Drawings, Sheets, and Forms to name a few. Students will also be learning coding through various sites and curriculums. Designing and printing with our 3D printer is also a part of the curriculum. Techology is constantly changing and becoming a part of our everyday lives. so it is important for children to learn how to be digital citizens and how to use the internet safely. Students will be taught digital citizenship and safety classes throughout the year to help them be safe online. The computer lab is a place where students at Christ the King  and the teachers work together, learn together,  and create together!
