Visiting Mary Program

Through the young Virgin Mary, God brought Jesus to the world. Through the intercession of the Blessed Mother, the world is brought to Her Son, Jesus Christ. Through our family prayer of the rosary, we are brought closer to God.

Christ the King School invites families to participate in our Visiting Mary program. For each classroom our Home and School, along with the support of our church, has purchased statues of Mary, rosaries, prayer booklets, and music CD’s dedicated to the devotion of Mary. Everything will be contained in a CKS duffel or tote bag. This bag will travel to the homes of students and their families who sign up for the program. This is optional and separate from the expectations of your child’s religion class. If you choose to sign up, the “Mary Bag” will go home with your child on Tuesday afternoon and will be expected back in the classroom the following Tuesday morning so that Mary may travel to the next appointed family in a timely manner.

This program is a wonderful way to incorporate the prayer of the rosary in family life. Praying even a decade together is a beautiful honor to our Blessed Mother, who so desires us to pray for peace and conversion in the world.

If you would like to have a week with Mary in your home, please sign up via the SignupGenius at . Questions? Contact Kristin Weisel at . Thank you!
