Art

Hello, new friends!

I'm Caitlyn Henneberry, Christ the King's brand new art teacher. I grew up in Franklin, Tennessee with a love for making art and a desire for learning. This past May, I graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Art Education, emphasizing in Painting. It is my first year teaching, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Christ the King community. I believe that everyone is an artist, and I hope to be able to help each of you see that within yourself.

When I'm not teaching, you can find me at the Frist Art Museum where I facilitate Martin ArtQuest, the museum's interactive gallery. I have been involved in the Frist's Education department for four years, and it is very dear to me. My two favorite places are museums and classrooms; I believe that looking at artwork is just as important as making one's own. I stay active in Nashville's contemporary art community and regularly show my own artwork. If you are interested in seeing my work and exhibition history, visit caitlynhenneberry.com. In my spare time, I enjoy seeing live music, being in nature, and curling up with my beloved cat (Nova Henneberry) and a good book.
